Barbara Luisi,

Born 1964 in Munich, Germany, living now in New York City and Camogli, Italy.
For 10 years professional violinist, with activities in many major orchestras in Europe.
Since her seventeenth birthday dedication to photography, first camera was Leica M6, from the beginning exclusively in her own darkroom. Since a couple of years ago both, classic darkroom and digital. She photographs on Leica M, Hasselblad and Canon. An important place in her work is dedicated to music and musicians.
Collaboration and workshops with Eikoh Hosoe, Art Streiber, Michael Grecco, Andreas Bitesnich.
